The Choir has welcomed Vicki Melling as our new Musical Director. She studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London and is an accomplished singer and musician and enjoys a wide variety of music styles. As well as accepting the invitation to be M.D. for The Dukeries Singers, this busy lady is also M.D. for the region's Women's Institute Choir. She is M.D. for T

he Forest Singers and has been for the last ten years. I think this shows her interest in Choral Music.

Vicki is keen to encourage more people to get involved in singing with a Choir and we are always looking for new singers to come and join in the friendliness and fun. We have spaces for all voice parts and you are welcome to come and hear us or try us out. Singing with others is fun and very high on the "feel good" scale.
