November Update

We are now firmly into rehearsals for our Christmas concerts and our engagements up until Christmas are as follows:

Thursday 24th November, Carol singing at the turning on of the Edwinstowe Christmas Lights. 5pm

Saturday 17th December, the Annual Edwinstowe Christmas Concert in Edwinstowe Village Hall at 7pm

Sunday 18th December, A Capella Carol Singing in the afternoon at Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre from 2.30 to 3.30pm.

We enjoy welcoming new members and particularly would like to recruit more men to sing with us. Just bring yourself along to any rehearsal and see if you enjoy it. Bring yourself, bring your friend, bring TWO friends, bring a GROUP! There are no auditions and no necessity to be able to read music. Our Musical Director Ashley Williams, who was a Bandmaster with the Royal Marines, is a very musically knowledgeable young and gets the best from the choir both in rehearsal and performance. Our choir men are an essential section of the choir, providing wonderful harmonies and a solid lower voice on which the others sit.

Our men are well appreciated but would welcome some more pals to swell their numbers.
