Charity Donations
Sitting in a hot South facing room writing this blog which is infinitely cooler than outdoors at the moment.
The Raffle money which was raised at our Edwinstowe Summer Concert this year, was donated to two charities chosen by Choir members. £85.50 was given to the NSPCC, the organisation chosen by Ash and the same amount was given to Mencap, the charity nominated by Sandra.
The choir had a lovely thank you letter from the NSPCC and I thought you would like to see parts of it.

Dear Supporters
Thank you so much for your fantastic donation of £85.50. Your support is why our life saving work doesn't grind to a halt, over 90% of funding comes from people like you.
Your money will be used to support children like Joanne who was helped at an NSPCC Treatment Centre.
"Coming to the Centre was scary at the start. It got easier every week. It helps me a lot with School and at home. It's changed me a lot. I'm stronger, more confident and I'm not shy or quiet. I'm more bubbly and look forward to things now. I love my life 'cause I've got more hope."
Grateful thanks on behalf of all the children we work with,
Joshua Spring
In what can be a very troubled world, this is a little ray of sunshine.
Thanks every one, Jan
